Do not exceed 100 lbs. weight capacity or the weight capacity of your roof as stated by vehicle manufacturer. Bag is intended to be positioned with the zipper on the sides and back, not the front. Bag is designed to sit directly on the roof, not on a glass roof or sunroof. The bag can be attached to raised side rails and/or to cross bars, cross bars should be positioned at 41 inches apart to accomodate the full length of the bag.
As noted in the instruction manual, the Outbound bag has been designed to be as weather resistant as possible. It is constructed with super-tough, pvc-coated nylon, taped seams and storm flaps to keep your contents safe and dry, however, 100% waterproofness can not be guranteed for any roof top bag.
