The Rhino-Rack BackBone connects directly to the underside of the Pioneer Platform using heavy duty fasteners. The BackBone allows the weight of your gear to be transported on the roof by distributing the weight of your luggage evenly through the strongest area of the roof.
The Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform is constructed of lightweight aluminum and composite materials, making this platform non-corrosive and will not rust or fade. Thoughtfully designed, the Pioneer Platforms have a multitude of gear specific carriers that easily attach to the four c-channeled floor planks.
The weight capacity for this vehicle BackBone with Pioneer Platform is 220 pounds evenly distributed and the static load (parked) of 737 pounds, evenly distributed. The Pioneer Platform measured 52L x 49W x 1.5H inches. View complete specification in the instruction manual.
