The Thule 987xt - Hitch Ski Accessory converts Thule bike hitch racks* into a rear mount, vertical ski and snowboard carrier.  This carrier was recently redesigned to accomodate the wider range of shapes and sizes of skis and snowboard that are now being offered.  The 987XT Hitch Ski holds up to four snowboards or six pairs of skis, mix and match as well.  Rubber straps hold the boards and skis safely.  Thule's One Key lock cylinders are included to secure the enclosures which locks the skis and snowboards to the carrier. 

*This accessory can be used with Thule hitch rack models: 964, 954, 912XT, 914XT, 915XT, 956, 957 and 958.  It can also be use with the Thule 963XTR Spare Me carrier, the maximum capacity is 4 pairs of skis or two snowboards.
