The Thule 982XT - Frame Adapter modifies women’s, BMX and non-standard frames in order to be carried on hanging style hitch mount racks.  The bar telescopes to attach to the bicycles seat post and under the handlebar stem with padded collars.  A push button releases the gateway on each end which allows for quick mounting.  To help resist swinging and sway the adapter bar is oval, with the bar strapped down the bicycle is more stable than with standard round bar adapters.
