The Thule 953 - Super High Gutter Foot Pack provides eleven inches of clearance from gutter to load bar for vehicles with raingutters and domed roof tops such as a Volkswagen Bus, or Land Rover Discovery.  Combine this foot pack with a set of Thule square load bars and you'll have an excellent base roof rack to carry a wide range of loads.  The foot tightens to the load bar with a hex fastener under a hidden panel and the foot tightens to the rain gutter with with just a turn of a knob. These knobs can be locked with a set of Thule lock cylinders, when locked the knobs will simply spin freely.  The blade of the foot is vinyl dipped for vibration damping and help prevent slip in the rain gutter. The feet are constructed with rust resistant galvanized stamped steel and finished with durable black polyester powder coating.  NOT designed to be used with 542 Artificial Raingutters, due to width of blade.
