The Thule 887XT - SlipStream is a kayak transport system that is ideal for loading kayaks from the rear of a vehicle.  The SlipStream's tubular steel platform will slide to the rear which positions its loading rollers far back on the roof.  With up to 30 inches of rearward extension a kayak can be loaded on to most vehicles without any contact to the vehicle.  Another big advantage of the SlipStream is the support the platform supplies to long kayaks.  The SlipStream can be mounted on most roof racks with cross bar spacing of as little as 24 inches yet the saddles SlipStream can provide 54 inches of support.  System includes saddles, roller, base tubes, all straps and tie downs for one kayak.  Allows positioning of kayak at bulkheads regardless of roof rack system location.
