The Thule 579xt - Canoe Carrier offers maximum stability and a soft, comfortable resting place for your canoe gunwales or the top edges of other open hull watercraft.  The design allows for quick and easy mounting with no tools. Base is impact resistant, long lasting UV protected plastic with soft, grippy rubber gunwale cradles.  A pair of ratcheting tie downs and two straps are included.  Designed exclusively for use with Thule rectangular load bars.
