The Thule 503 - Load Stops work to keep loads from shifting side to side.  The 3.5 inch tall stops grip securely to the Thule standard rectangular bar to brace ladders, lumber, crates and similar loads.  The steel framed nylon inserts are strong and work with the load bar's surface and load straps to help make load carrying trips safe.  Thule Heavy Duty Straps work great with the Thule Load Stops and are available separately.
