About Thule 450 Crossroad Foot
The Thule 450 Crossroad Foot Pack is the best solution to mount load carrying cross bars to factory raised side rails.  Raised side rails are the bars that run front to back on the outer edges of the roof.  Many SUVs and wagons come with the side rails pre installed from the auto manufacture, check the Thule Fit Guide to verify fit for a vehicle.  The Thule 450 Crossroad Feet attach to the side rail using a very strong, high tensile (800MPa) stainless steel band.  The rubber covered band is flexible to conform and grip a wide range of side rail shapes and sizes.  The installation of the 450 foot is very simple, insert the Thule load bar into the foot, set the foot onto the side rail, wrap the band under the rail and attach into the front of the foot then tighten the band with the hex wrench handle.   No other side rail mounted cross bar system is a simple to install or attaches as securely to inspire confidence when transporting gear.

About Thule Load Bars
Thule LB50 Load Bars are a main component of a Thule roof rack systems. The bars span a vehicle's roof between Thule Feet providing a base for accessories.  Rectangular shape provides wide surface area to support gear carriers and accessories will not slip or rotate on the bars.  Load bars are strong, cold rolled steel that is galvanized inside and out for corrosion resistance. The tough polyethylene coating provide grip for accessories and long lasting good looks.  End caps are supplied with Thule foot packs.

About Thule Lock Cylinders
Thule Lock Cylinders plug into lock receptacles found on many Thule products. Cylinders are sold in matching sets, an entire rack system with multiple carriers can be locked using one key. Select the set of cylinders with the number needed to lock each foot and each lockable carrier. For example, a base rack with two fork mount bike carriers would need one cylinder for each of the four feet and one cylinder for each bike mount for a total of six cylinders.
