The Thule 422XT - Xsporter Workman Adjustable Truck Rack is a five position, height adjustable truck bed rack system thoughtfully designed to maximize the load capacity of pickup trucks. Raise the load bars up to 28.5 inches from bed rail to the top of the cross bar. Carry long loads that extend over the cab, lower them for short loads for convenient bed level loading or position the bars at three other mid way points. Each of the four adjustable uprights lock in place using Thule's keyed alike lock cylinder that are included.  

Four, heavy-duty, black powder-coated, die-cast aluminum load stops are included with this truck rack, they're are a $70 value.  These load stops connect into the load bar's T-slots and are fully adjustable along the length of the bar.  A large turn knob is used to tighten the load stops in place on the bar for quick load adjustments.

The Thule Xsporter holds up to 450 pounds of cargo evenly distributed between the two 71 inch wide load bars. Construction quality is first rate with high strength 6000 aluminum uprights and load bars. The fasteners are high grade stainless steal. Nuts use nylon inserts to resist loosening due to vibrations. There are even brass threaded inserts for the aluminum bed rail connection hardware brackets.

The installation is straight forward on most trucks with open bed rails and does not require any drilling. There are adapters for trucks with bed rail track systems; Toyota Tacoma (XK1) and Toyota Tundra (XK2), each sold separately.  Verify your fit using the Thule vehicle fit guide.
