This Draw-Tite Anti-Wobble 8 Inch Hitch Extension - For 2 Inch Hitch has been adapted with a nut insert to provide an anti-wobble connection to a two inch receiver hitch.  This anti-wobble feature combined with the anti-wobble feature found on many Thule hitch racks provide a very ridgid connection to the receiver while allowing eight inches of additional clearance for vehicles with spare tires such as Jeep Wanglers or a deeply inset receiver hitch found on vehicles such as the Land Rover Ranger Rover.

This product is not recommended for five bike hitch racks, four bike platform racks or swing away type bicycle hitch racks. 

An M12x1.75 bolt with a flat washer and lock washer are included. The nut and bolt is the exact same threading use on many Thule hitch racks. Thule's STL2 Snug-Tite lock can be used in place of the supplied bolt which allows for all removable points to be securely locked with a consistent product and even the same key when all lock cylinders are matched.

Maximum tongue weight is the lowest of the following: 50% of the tongue weight shown on the rating sticker of your trailer hitch or 300 pounds.  Never use more than one adapter.  Do not cut, weld or modify.  Exceeding these limits can result in death, personal injury or property damage.
